Today is a day of profound sorrow and with it may bring a host of complicated and painful emotions as we learn which hostages will not be coming home alive. There are no words that can truly capture the depth of this pain, the heartbreak of families who have been waiting in anguish, or the grief felt across our community. At the same time, we are eager to welcome home the six remaining living hostages scheduled to be released on Saturday. This moment carries an overwhelming mix of emotions—relief for those reunited with loved ones and deep, immeasurable sorrow for those we mourn.
The weight of these emotions is immense, and whatever you may be feeling—grief, anger, overwhelm, or something else entirely—you are not alone. These emotions are shared, and so too is the strength we find in one another.
In times like these, connection matters. Our free support groups remain open for anyone who needs space to process, grieve, or simply be with others who understand. You are part of our community and you do not have to carry this pain alone.
