The Jewish Community Mental Health Initiative (JCMHI) was excited to host a fundraiser and a special private screening of The Choice in NYC. Guests enjoyed light bites before heading into the auditorium for this incredible film based on Dr. Edith Eger’s award-winning book. Directed by John David Coles, The Choice is “a film about survival, reframing pain, and the radical power of choice.” Its powerful message about healing from trauma deeply resonates with JCMHI’s mission and the work we do every day.
